Nothing like a Long Island sunset (Taken with instagram)

For my last NY dinner, delicious Little Vincent’s NY pizza. Sigh. Not ready to go back.

Pretty stoked that I bought my first loose teas and infuser today at my church’s craft fair! Bought them from The Pleasures of Tea on Long Island, NY and drinking one now! The pictures are from the website and of the teas I bought:

    1) Earl Grey de la Creme Black Tea (top) [and drinking now!]

    2) East Frisian Breakfast Blend Black Tea (bottom left)

    3) Emerald Tips Green Needle Chinese Green Tea (bottom right)

The woman that owns the company is real cool and down to earth so if you’re looking for tea or incense (bought cinnamon and bamboo sticks today too) order them here!

    Was a good day.

CANNOT WAIT to venture on that 11 hour drive tomorrow! I’m coming home New York!

This is the worst part of the summer (not the beginning. not the end. but right close to it)

Packing up to get ready to go back to school in good ol’ NC and so excited to see everyone and get back into the groove of things.

But the last couple of drives around LI seem more and more special and I remember how much I’ll miss this damn state.

going to miss this damn place come a few weeks

    Home!

Had a FANTASTIC weekend! I love Montauk, my best friends, board games, in-ground pools, and NY!!

The weather held out and was gorgeous allowing me to get a great tan and hang out on the beach. So good.

    However…

    - 12 year olds with 6 packs make me angry

    - 80 year olds with 6 packs make me sad

    - Tourists will never be cool and

    - Feeding seagulls is just plain dumb

Very happy with my mood, tan, and life!

Red Light Cameras...study up Long Island!
    In New York

    I love being home.

Standing in line at Benkert’s Bakery on LI listening to the song “In New York” (acoustic version) playing over the radio, listening to the accent I’ve missed hearing so much, and admiring the baked goods (duh) and remembering why I love being in New York.

Living anywhere else is simply not the same.

I actually do really like this movie but what I love the most is thinking “hmm…about 20 or so minutes BEFORE the movie began, Long Island was all ready washed away and we’re all dead!” Why is it always NY? Well okay…it’s not ALWAYS NY but we get the brunt of it.
